Description
This study group will meet online 4 Sundays in January to learn about scientific research on parrots. The first class focuses on identifying research from rumor – and gives you tools to find scientific answers. Using tools from the first class, we will then explore a number of parrot articles together… from popular media and from scientific journals. The second half of the guided study will take a deep dive into a recently published – HOT off the press – research study about parrot foraging behavior! Register by Dec 27 to receive Early-Bird pricing PLUS a workbook in the mail with the presentation and reading materials. (If you register after the 27th, you will receive the materials via email pdf).
There will be light fun homework between meetings, to get you thinking about and applying the concepts we discuss. Join us to learn about parrot science, and meet fellow bird nerds! Wine and parrots are welcome to attend this fun online event 😉
When: 4 Sundays in January 2021: February 9, 16, 23, 30th. From 12:30-1:30 Pacific Time.
