Description
Natural sand-blasted branched manzanita from the west coast of the U.S.A. Photos are for example only. These are truly the most beautiful perches available. These slip-resistant forked manzanita perches are about 12-14″ long. We make every effort to photograph each perch from many angles to show you the unique bends, knots, cracks, and coloration. Cracks and knots are normal for this species of wood and each perch has been inspected for structural integrity. Each branch varies in diameter between approximately 0.75″ to 1″ along the length of the perch (often thicker at the connection point). Perfect for pionus, Senegals… up to eclectus and Amazon parrots. The variable diameter relieves pressure points on your bird’s feet. The sand-blasting process removes the smooth red bark and provides anti-slip grip for your bird! Manzanita is the 6th hardest wood and has no sap or toxins making it the perfect perch for parrots. Our manzanita perches are chemical free, sustainably harvested, and oven cured.
